When the wild and lush jungle meets a mecca of skyscrapers and entertainment you are in Singapore. This city is full of fascinating contrasts – charming colonial architecture next to giant skyscrapers, relaxed hanging out between street artists at Marina Bay and afterwards enjoying the pulsating nightlife. Singapore has so much to offer!
It’s the last stop and the crowning glory of our Asia travel diary. Let’s discover this more than beautiful city!
PINK Stay
We stayed in the iconic 5 Star Hotel PARKROYAL on Pickering. With it’s stunning hotel-in-a-garden concept it is a real oasis in the heart of the city. The hotel is inspired by the rice fields of bali – sky-gardens, reflecting pools, waterfalls, planter terraces and cascading vertical greenery. You can enjoy a spectacular view of the skyline while taking a stroll along the Garden Walk or taking a dip into the calm infinity pool with it’s cool cabanas.
BTW: The PARKROYAL on Pickering has the much nicer pool than the famous one of the Marina Bay Sands. To tell you the truth, that one is totally crowded!
Make sure to join the Orchid Club to enjoy your champagne breakfast in the rooftop lounge with a stunning skyline view.
PINK Sights
Botanic Gardens:
In the green city you do green sightseeing, right! The lush Orchid Garden of Singapore is definitely worth a visit. You can see every kind and color of orchids. We love especially the PINK ones and the sweet scent in the air…
Gardens by the Bay:
Right here you can find magic on earth and step into a fantastic fairyland. The artificially arranged gardens loom into the sky and take your breath away. Let your imagination take you to a place that celebrates dreams, hopes and infinite possibilities…
Make sure to watch the light show at 7 p.m. when the trees come alive! And the best: They play Disney music during the show 😉
River Cruise:
The best way to explore all the sights of Singapore is from the water. The singapore river cruise trip takes you from the Quays to Marina Bay with the most charming guides you could ask for.
Sky Park at Marina Bay Sands:
A pretty and calm observation desk where you can watch the sunset over beautiful Singapore while enjoying a drink or some ice cream.
The Quays:
Spend your evening on the river side! There are countless charming restaurants and bars in cute and colorful former warehouses. You can enjoy the wonderful atmosphere on the waterfront with the glittering skyline behind.
PINK Gourmet
Restaurant Amarone:
Italian food in Singapore sounds kind of weird, but what should we do if it is even better than in Italy. Sweeties, try the Panna Cotta!
Bitters & Love:
A charming bar with fantastic cocktails. No drinks menu only surprise mixes! Choose the alcohol of your choice and your general taste (like sweet, sour, bitter or PINK ;)…) and you will get a real stunner!
PINK Shopaholics
Lula Rock:
One of the cutest shops ever. Full of rare finds and cult womenswear labels you’ve never heard of (but should have ;). Prices: medium to high.
Marina Bay Sands Mall:
Kind of Venice feelings with a river through this exclusive mall. Little gondolas take you from shop to shop. You really can find every designer brand here. Our fave of course the CC store 😉
PINK Look
For this pure and pretty city we love clean looks in nude lace and pastel colors.
PINK TREND: Espadrilles in metallic leather!
Our hearts beats like a jungle drum fo Singapore!
Goodbye Asia, we had a blast.
