After our amazing stay at LUX* Belle Mare we had the chance to see another side of the gorgeous island Mauritius which was the south west coast. It really felt like Bora Bora (where Sarah actually wants to spend her honeymoon – just to let you know guys 😉 ) when we arrived at the super stunning LUX* Le Morne nestled at the foot of the majestic mountain Le Morne, THE landmark of Mauritius.
The beach is so white and the water just light turquoise it is a tropical dream come true. The stay started with the first highlight: eating fresh sea urchins with homemade pasta. Really a taste of the ocean. Afterwards we needed to check out the hot spot of the resort: hammocks in the sea! The very best place to relax and take loooots of Instagram pictures of course…
Another highlight was the delicious food at LUX* Le Morne. French toast for breakfast, always frech coconuts at the pool and the most tasty lunch on the beach.
If you have the chance, you need to go for a dolphin swim at the south of Mauritius. Unfortunately the weather conditions were too bad and we could not go to play with wild baby dolphins. And also don’t miss horseback riding on the heavenly beach – you can even go swimming with the horses here! Maybe next time – we will definitely come back to this magical place @luxlemorne!
