THE PINK MACARON X Ikarus at Hangar-7

Hi loves, 

every time we travel to a new place we love to check out new exciting locations like restaurants and bars. Just came for the food, right!

This weekend we visited beautiful Salzburg and got the possibility to dine with Bee Satongun. Bee is the guest chef at the Restaurant Ikarus at Hangar-7 this month. If you haven’t heard of Red Bulls´ Hangar-7 yet, it’s a very very special location. The Restaurant Ikarus is located next to a bunch of airplanes and Formula One cars. Fun Fact: All of these are fueled and could be used anytime.

The menu consisted of 6 courses and every single dish has been an experience. I think we all love sushi, Asian dumplings and all the regular Asian meals. But this time we had something special. Beneath the fact, that everything was exceptionally cooked, some of the dishes has been served in a group. Having a full table with different dishes, for example varying Curries is very common in the Asian cuisine and to be honest don´t we hate the fancy, small dishes often served in the best restaurants. Mostly it tastes so yum but the portion … let´s leave this for now ;).

As you all know me and this wont last lifelong, I am absolutely the dessert-kind-of-girl. You know everything is about the sweet little thinks in life. The dessert was called “chocolate dom” and this is what it was. Just a soft stunning chocolate banana passion fruit dessert, as we all love it.

So … what should I say more than: Eat it! Every month you can choose a new guest chef from the world best restaurants and it has a very unique but personally atmosphere.
